Job Title: Head of Business – Recruitment & Client Partnerships (China & Southeast Asia)
Salary: $8,000 to $10,000 per month
Job Responsibilities
- Business Strategy & Team Management: Develop business strategies for China and Southeast Asia markets, decompose annual revenue, client development, and recruitment targets, and track their implementation; oversee the full headhunting process to optimize efficiency and candidate quality. Responsible for team building, training, performance evaluation, motivation, and retention to foster a cohesive cross-border team. Regularly review business progress, address challenges, and drive process and skill optimization.
- Client Relationship & Business Development: Engage with companies and institutions to identify recruitment and cooperation needs and establish strategic partnerships. Maintain key client relationships, provide customized solutions, and enhance client satisfaction and repurchase rates. Acquire new clients through industry events and business negotiations. Expand market coverage; handle client complaints and emergencies, and coordinate resources to ensure smooth cooperation.
- Business Coordination & Compliance Management: Establish cross-border collaboration mechanisms between Singapore and China to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of both regions. Gain insights into market policies, industry trends, and client needs in China and Southeast Asia to optimize cross-border solutions. Conduct daily communication and project implementation with cooperative institutions, synchronizing needs and feedback; monitor core business data and adjust strategies based on reviews.
- Brand & Industry Influence Building: Participate in industry events and business exchanges to enhance the company’s brand visibility in the cross-border recruitment sector.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with regular communication with Mandarin-speaking clients, partners, and stakeholders in China.
- Over 3 years of experience in recruitment or headhunting.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing client relationships within the China market, including successful collaboration with Chinese institutions, banks, financial enterprises, or large corporate HR teams.
- Familiar with cross‑border recruitment processes, talent policies, and industry norms, with experience in implementing cross‑border talent solutions.
- Good market insight and business acumen to develop and implement market‑adapted business strategies.
- Excellent team motivation and empowerment skills, with strong leadership, communication, coordination, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Outstanding business negotiation and client relationship management abilities, capable of quickly establishing high‑level trust.
- Familiar with Sino‑Western business cultural differences, with effective cross‑border communication and resource integration capabilities.
- Results‑oriented, resilient, and able to adapt to the fast‑paced and high‑pressure cross‑border business environment.
- Willing to accept long‑term cross‑border business trips.
