Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic and Business Execution:
    • Work closely alongside the Head of Wealth for Asia South on business planning and execution, transformation initiatives, change-management, and governance matters.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive growth, efficiency and client excellence.
    • Represent Asia South Wealth in business forums and governance committees to ensure alignment with global and regional priorities.
  • Operational Management & Financial Discipline:
    • Lead and coordinate business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Prepare business reviews, regulatory updates and governance committee/forum materials, including Citibank Singapore Limited board materials.
    • Ensure disciplined financial performance through robust management routines (eg, track business financials, employee headcount, etc), as well as identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • People Leadership & Development:
    • Lead a high-performing Business Execution team that partners effectively across functions and geographies.
    • Role-models Citi’s leadership principles - fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop bench strength within the function and across Asia South Wealth by supporting career development and talent mobility, including through the early career programs.
  • Governance, Risk & Controls:
    • Ensure strict adherence to Citi’s global standards and local regulatory requirements by promoting a strong risk awareness culture, and through disciplined monitoring and issue management.
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy
    • Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, including escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What You'll Bring
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in financial services, with a proven track record in business execution or operational management.
  • Deep knowledge of wealth management including the affluent and high net worth segments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline, including the ability to provide impartial solutions-oriented approaches or set up internal processes to prevent/resolve issues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, highly collaborative and able to work across functions, geographies and different levels within the organization.
  • Resilient, highly detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements, able to skillfully support financial reporting and budgeting.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required.
