We are seeking an experienced Air Freight leader to spearhead the development, performance, and strategic direction of the Air Freight product across the Singapore–Malaysia cluster.

This role is ideal for someone with deep industry expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record managing multi-country freight operations.

About the Role

As the Head of Air Freight, you will oversee full P&L performance, operational excellence, pricing and procurement, cross-border connectivity, and commercial expansion within the cluster.

You will also work closely with regional and global teams to drive product improvements, enhance customer satisfaction, and strengthen strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Air Freight P&L for the Singapore–Malaysia cluster
• Define and execute the Air Freight strategy aligned with global product direction
• Oversee gateway, hub, and cross-border trucking operations
• Build strong partnerships with airlines, GSAs, and logistics providers
• Drive pricing, procurement, and competitiveness across both markets
• Support regional/global bids and ensure operational feasibility
• Ensure high service standards and proactive issue management
• Guide a multi-market team and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Singapore & Malaysia sales teams to grow the customer pipeline

What We’re Looking For

• 12–15 years’ experience in freight forwarding (air freight focus)
• 3–5 years in a leadership role managing regional or multi-national teams
• Strong air pricing & procurement expertise
• Established relationships with airlines, agents, and trucking partners
• Experience managing air freight solutions or projects (advantageous)
• Commercially driven, hands‑on leadership style
• Familiarity with CargoWise One is a bonus
