ABOUT UNLEASH THE ROAR!

Unleash the Roar! (UTR!) − is a national movement jointly led by SportSG and the插件 Football Association of Singapore (FAS) aimed at raising the level of Singapore football, build strong support systems to nurture our next generation of talents, and rally the nation towards sporting excellence. It is a long‑term, whole‑of‑society effort covering grassroots development, elite youth pathways, infrastructure and community / fan engagement.

As the Head of Academy for Pathway Development, Women’s Football, you will report to the Director of Football (UTR!). Your main responsibilities include the development and implementation of football pathways for the girls programme in the National Development Center (NDC), the Junior National Development Center (JNDC), and the School Football Academy (SFA), working in close collaboration with key partners such as MOE, schools, clubs, and national agencies. You will be in charge of the development and delivery, quality and continuous improvement of the overall UTR! girls’ programme at an elite level. You will drive strategic initiatives that integrate football and academic development from grassroots to elite levels, andోద develop the technical / tactical skills required to implement the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) National Playing Philosophy. Together with Director of Football (UTR!), you will also plan, design, organise and conduct Coaches’ Continuous Education (CCE)зем courses for youth coaches for female football in the Singapore football ecosystem.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Program Development and Implementation

To develop and implement a comprehensive youth female program for UTR! in line with the Singapore National Football Curriculum and Football Philosophy.

Training and Instruction

To oversee the planning and execution of training sessions, ensuring they are well‑structured and cater to the specific needs of each player.

Physical Conditioning

To work with the UTR!’s physio and sport science team to develop strength and conditioning programmes specific to youth female football to ensure the players are physically prepared for the demands of the position, working on agility, strength, and conditioning.

Communication and Collaboration

To oversee stakeholder engagement with MOE, FAS, CoachSG, schools, and clubs to ensure alignment and collaboration. To maintain regular and open communications with parents, keeping them informed about UTR!’s program and players' progress.

Individual Development Plan

To work with the UTR! sports science team to create assessment criteria for the individual development plans of UTR!’s female players in the Athlete Management System (AMS).

Recruitment and Evaluation

To work with Director of Football (UTR!) on the scouting and evaluation plan of potential talent, and to disseminate this to UTR! Coaches.

Coaches Continuous Education (CCE)
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum certification: Asian Football Confederation (AFC) A Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working with high performance football young athletes/children in a similar role
  • Good network with the local football women’s coaches fraternity
  • Experience in leading a team of more than 3 staff members
  • Has worked in a high‑performance environment
  • Understands Long‑Term Athlete Development principles
  • High level of communication skills (written & spoken)
  • Good command of English (written & spoken)
  • Good team player who can work on own initiative
  • Valid National Registry of Coaches (NROC) membership دیت required
  • Knowledge in and familiarity with football analysis, video and tactical software
  • Computer skills
