Job summary

A leading tennis academy in Singapore seeks a Head of the Kids Academy to oversee the tennis and school camp programs. You will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, managing coaches, and ensuring quality control in the coaching program. The ideal candidate must possess a tennis coach certificate and have at least 12 years of teaching experience. This role also requires working in various locations across Singapore, ensuring all lessons are properly conducted and managed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience teaching tennis.
• Able to create strategic lesson plans for beginners and advanced players.
• Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with other coaches.

Job description

Job responsibilities

• Head of the kids academy for regular tennis and school camp program
• Prepare strategic lesson plans on Tennis for both beginner and advance players
• Play a key role in the quality control and coach mentoring program of the company
• Responsible for arranging a suitable date and time to conduct lessons for clients looking for private lessons.
• Create lesson plans for both privates and groups
• Manage academy coaches and conduct monthly coach group training sessions
• Ensure that all private lessons conducted are up to date with the payment. Check group lessons attendance accurately and regularly. Other administrative functions as required.
• Take care and maintain coaching equipment

Requirements

• Obtain tennis coach course certificate or equivalent ITF Level 1 or 2
• Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience teaching
• Should have good punctuality and arrive in good time for scheduled lessons
• Should be a team player and work with all coaches in the best interest of the team.
• Conduct lessons and work with partners in a professional manner at all times.
• Should be willing to work at various locations across Singapore, including condos, schools, University and clubs
