Job summary

A logistics and supply chain management company in Singapore is seeking a Hardware Systems Integration Engineer. As part of our IT team, the Hardware Systems Integration Engineer will integrate hardware requirements as part of the overall solutions that align with our company's long term goals.

Responsibilities
  • Hardware Systems Integration & Optimization: Integrate, test and validate equipment, hardware components and systems, including PC/Laptop setup, IP/Analog CCTV, NVR/DVR, networking equipment, IoT devices and sensors, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. Ability to keep up to date with new hardware and software technologies is preferred.
  • Hardware-Software Collaboration: Communicate with software development teams, providing detailed hardware requirements, specifications and technical support to facilitate smooth hardware-software integration within project schedules.
  • CCTV System Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of CCTV surveillance systems, including installation, maintenance, modifications, and servicing with new and existing site infrastructure. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, manage cable infrastructure, and ensure proper storage recording and data integrity.
  • Hardware Logistics, Equipment Inventory, and Documentation: Procure necessary hardware equipment, manage vendor relationships and handle warranty processes. Maintain accurate inventory management and labeling of all hardware and equipment. Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including area schematics, diagrams, and detailed reports.
  • Project Coordination, Compliance, and Safety: Manage hardware integration tasks according to project timelines, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of hardware components. Participate in quality assurance and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Higher NITEC diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years hands‑on experience in the engineering field, specifically with hardware system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to electrical and electronic equipment is required. Must be physically fit and able to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks. Boom lift license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours based on operational needs.
  • Candidates residing in the western region of Singapore, or with transportation available preferred.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm
  • Troubleshooting, installation or maintenance works on the weekend may be required
