Job summary

A technology solutions provider based in Singapore is looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide hands-on server and network hardware maintenance and incident resolution. Key responsibilities include on-site and remote support for hardware incidents, performing diagnoses and replacements of components, and responding to incidents in a timely manner.   • Support Cisco switches and Fortinet firewalls under guidance.
  • Assist in firmware updates and system health checks.
  • Respond to incidents within 2 hours and resolve within 4 hours.
  • Prepare service and incident reports after each site visit.
  • Coordinate with senior engineers, OEM support, and FM vendors.
  • Participate in inventory checks and documentation updates.

Skills

Server hardware troubleshooting (Dell / HPE)
Basic networking knowledge (switches, firewalls)
Understanding of SLA-based support operations

  • Perform diagnosis and replacement of faulty components (disk, RAM, PSU, NIC)

  • Support Cisco switches and Fortinet firewalls under guidance

  • Assist in firmware updates and system health checks

  • Respond to incidents within 2 hours and resolve within 4 hours

  • Prepare service and incident reports after each site visit

  • Coordinate with senior engineers, OEM support, and FM vendors

  • Participate in inventory checks and documentation updates

Skills & Technical Requirements
  • Server hardware troubleshooting (Dell / HPE)

  • Basic networking knowledge (switches, firewalls)

  • Understanding of SLA‑based support operations

  • Willingness to support 24×7 on‑call rotation

Experience & Qualifications
