Job description

As our Hardware Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the design, prototyping, and testing of hardware systems that power our advanced optical and authentication solutions. Working closely with the lead engineer, you’ll contribute to circuit design, hardware integration, to help ensure our technology is reliable, scalable, and ready for real-world deployment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of hardware systems, including optoelectronics, PCB layouts, and embedded modules.
• Support rapid prototyping efforts and help iterate on designs to advance product development and proof-of-concepts builds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, optics, chemistry) to help integrate hardware elements into complete system architectures.
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware under the guidance of the lead engineer, contributing to performance optimization and reliability improvements.
• Manage lab equipment, perform hands‑on experiments, and prepare clear documentation for technical reviews and engineering discussions.

Who You Are

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on hardware design and prototyping experience (startup or R&D environment preferred).
• Skilled in PCB design tools and embedded hardware development.
• Proficient in performing circuit analysis, diagnosing hardware issues, and conducting bench‑level testing with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other lab tools.
• Enjoys fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment, with a strong problem‑solving mindset.
• Passionate about building innovative hardware solutions that bridge science and real‑world applications.
