A leading mobile repair service company in Singapore is looking for a skilled technician to handle device diagnostics, hardware repairs, and software troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience, a strong understanding of Android and iOS systems, and good communication skills. Responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining logs of repairs, and managing inventory. Availability on weekends and public holidays is essential.
Ensure excellent service to internal or external users. Follow up with users on unresolved issues or complaints. Communicate downtime, incidents, and updates clearly to affected users.
Inspect and diagnose mobile phones to identify hardware and software issues. Use diagnostic tools and tests to determine the cause of malfunctions.
Repair or replace damaged components such as screens/LCDs, batteries, charging ports, speakers & microphones, cameras, and buttons (power, volume, home button). Perform micro‑soldering or board‑level repairs if knowledgeable.
Fix software-related issues such as system crashes, boot loops, virus/malware removal, data backup & recovery, and operating system updates and reinstallation.
Communicate clearly with customers to understand phone issues. Explain repair options, costs, and estimated repair time. Offer advice on how to maintain their devices and prevent future damage.
Test repaired devices to ensure all functions operate correctly before returning to customers. Conduct final inspections for touch sensitivity, audio quality, network performance, etc.
Maintain logs of repairs performed, parts used, and device conditions. Prepare reports for warranty claims or internal tracking.
Keep track of spare parts, tools, and accessories. Order new parts when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Safely use repair tools such as heat guns, opening tools, soldering irons, microscopes, and multimeters when applicable. Follow safety procedures to protect devices and maintain a clean work area.
Stay updated with the latest phone models, repair techniques, and technology trends. Participate in training or certification programs to enhance skills.
Maintain high repair standards. Protect customer data and ensure confidentiality. Provide honest and transparent service.
Able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
Must have knowledge of Singapore telco standards, including:
Previous experience in mobile phone repair (hardware & software) is preferred.
Good understanding of Android and iOS systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude when dealing with customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new repair techniques.

Minimum qualifications with 3 to 4 years strong experience needed.
