About the role

As a Group Financial Reporting Specialist at IDEA ENTERTAINMENT ASIA PTE LTD, you will play a pivotal role in the company's financial reporting and accounting processes. This full‑time position is based in Singapore. You will be responsible for accurately consolidating financial information and producing high‑quality reports that support strategic decision‑making.

What you’ll be doing
  1. In accordance with the company’s reporting standards, organize the preparation of group financial reports, including but not limited to the balance sheet, income statement, cash‑flow statement and other financial statements, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  2. Assist local finance teams in converting entity level financial statements into formats required for statutory filings in their respective jurisdictions (balance sheet, income statement, cash‑flow statement, etc.), guaranteeing the accuracy and completeness of the converted data.
  3. Assist local companies in completing their local tax filings and annual audits; provide all financial data, reports and statements required by local authorities.
  4. Coordinate group internal and external audits by providing all necessary financial documents (ledgers, vouchers, reports, etc.) to ensure smooth audit execution.
  5. Participate in the standardization initiatives of the group finance management, including drafting and updating detailed review guidelines and accounting policies, summarizing issues identified during reviews, and proposing process improvements and optimization recommendations.
  6. Help formulate and refine the reporting management system and operating manuals for the finance department, clearly defining responsibilities and workflows for reporting position to ensure reporting work is standardized and consistent.
  7. Complete other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by leadership, such as occasional financial analyses or special reporting assignments.
What we’re looking for
  1. Full‑time bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing or related majors.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in group‑level financial reporting, consolidation or a similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and best practices.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify insights.
  5. Proficient in finance softerwares (SAP, Oracle, Xero, Quickbooks etc.) and office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  6. Fluent in Chinese communication in writing and orally. English proficiency sufficient for daily work use, including reviewing English contracts and supporting documents, bookkeeping in English, and communicating accounting issues in English.
  7. Member of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA); Associate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an advantage.
  8. Strong and Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional team; able to work under fast pace and high pressure environment.
  9. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
