Partner and Project Trainee, Regional Ecosystems, Consumer Banking Group (WD79224)

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven trainee to join our dynamic Regional Ecosystems team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in managing strategic partnerships and contributing to critical bank‑wide projects within the Consumer Banking Group. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team in identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with external partners, as well as assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various strategic initiatives across the bank.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership Development and Management: Assist in the end‑to‑end process of partnership development and management, including research to identify potential strategic partners, proposal preparation and outreach, and ongoing communications with existing partners.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of strategic partnerships, generating insightful reports for senior stakeholders and identifying areas for optimization and growth.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, marketing and data teams, and other internal and external stakeholders, to integrate partnership initiatives seamlessly into business operations.
  • Project Management: Contribute to the planning and coordination of bank‑wide projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Marketing and Customer Journeys: Create engaging and effective marketing materials to communicate propositions to partners and customers, and build seamless and intuitive customer journeys.
  • Event Management: Help to prepare for and conduct bank‑sponsored events in collaboration with partners.
Job Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Media & Comms, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Self‑motivated, resourceful and organised. Experience in logistics or event management would be useful.
  • Innovative and curious, with a keen interest in learning new skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
