Job summary

A leading energy and urban solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a BIM coordination role. The position involves participation in design meetings, enforcing BIM standards, and creating 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD and other BIM tools. Candidates should have good interpersonal skills for successful coordination and be keen on working with innovative technologies. Due to project sensitivity, only Singaporean candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Able to perform drawing and design work using BIM tools.
• Collaborate effectively in BIM coordination processes.
• Interest in creating BIM models and working with relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and model coordination meetings.
• Enforce BIM strategies and quality control.
• Implement and manage the BIM Execution Plan.
• Create 3D models and prepare 2D drawings as necessary.
• Generate clash detection reports from 3D models.
• Develop documentation for authorities including BIM submissions.
• Administer 3D models and drawings distribution.
• Coordinate with project teams on updates and submissions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and model coordination meetings and review sessions when required
• Enforce BIM strategies, processes and standards, model content and quality control for the discipline/assigned scope of works
• Implement and manage BIM Execution Plan
• Creation of 3D model content and modelling using specified tools and/or prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD as relevant or required
• Generate clash detection report and other relevant reports from 3D models
• To develop documentation for submission to Authorities including BIM e‑submission
• Archival of 3D models, prepare user handover and related documentation
• Drawing production from 3D models and administer 3D models/drawings distribution to relevant users in compliance with stipulated procedures
• Coordinate and liaise with project/construction team on submissions, updates or changes, and checking for clashes with other disciplines
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Knowledge in the use of BIM tools for design / construction documentation.
• Able to use BIM tools to perform drawing and design work.
• Good interpersonal skills for BIM coordination and collaborative processes.
• Interest in working using software and technologies and BIM model creation.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the project, only Singaporean candidates will be considered
