About Us

Clover Studio LLP is a design-focused signage and environmental graphics studio specialising in wayfinding, branding, retail environments, and architectural signage solutions. We combine strong design fundamentals with practical fabrication knowledge to deliver effective and visually compelling signage systems for our clients.

We are expanding our team and seeking a Signage Designer who is detail-driven, creative, and able to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings for production and installation.

Primary Responsibilities

(Design and Technical Execution)

1. Develop full signage design packages, including concept design, layout, typography, and visual mock-ups for client review.

2. Prepare detailed technical and fabrication drawings (elevations, sections, fixing details, material specifications, LED layout, etc.).

3. Work closely with project managers to study site photos, coordinate measurements, and incorporate site conditions into design.

4. Interpret brand guidelines and wayfinding strategies to produce practical and readable signage layouts.

5. Revise and update drawings based on client, architect, or internal feedback in a timely manner.

6. Ensure compliance with authority standards (e.g., BCA, LTA, URA guidelines) when preparing signage proposals.

7. Prepare final artwork files for production, including dielines, CNC files, and print-ready files.

8. Participate in design discussions, contributing creative solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability.

Secondary Responsibilities

(Project Support & Coordination)

1. Conduct basic site surveys such as photo documentation, measuring simple wall surfaces, and checking site constraints.

2. Support proposal submissions, including preparing presentation decks, material boards, and sample panels.

3. Work with fabrication partners (local and overseas) to clarify design intent, material selection, and production requirements.

4. Assist project managers in updating drawing registers, file naming, and documentation control.

5. Coordinate with suppliers on printing, vinyl cutting, LED specifications, and material sourcing.

6. Provide design support during installation, ensuring the signage is installed according to approved drawings.

7. Prepare design-related reports such as revision logs, design issue lists, and progress updates.

8. Support ad-hoc design tasks during peak project periods (e.g., quick mock-ups, replacement artwork, tender drawings).

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related fields.

• 1–3 years’ experience in signage design, wayfinding, environmental graphics, or related disciplines (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome).

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup, ; knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.

• Understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, and LED lighting preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks.

• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with project managers and fabricators.
