We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team at our Chinese Restaurants.
1. Branding & Visual Identity
- Ensure all marketing materials follow the restaurant’s brand guidelines, theme, and cultural aesthetics.
- Maintain consistent visual identity across all physical and digital platforms.
2. Marketing Collateral Design
- Design posters, banners, standees, tent cards, table cards, and menu inserts for promotions, festive campaigns, and dine-in experience.
- Create seasonal designs for festive seasons.
- Produce packaging designs for takeaway/delivery items (e.g., boxes, stickers, labels).
3. Social Media & Digital Content
- Design static posts and digital ads for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu (小红书).
- Create eye-catching visuals for online promotions, new product launches, and festive announcements.
- Edit and enhance food photos for digital marketing.
4. Website & Online Platforms
- Support updates to restaurant website visuals (banners, promo graphics, new product highlights).
- Create graphics for online platforms.
5. Advertising & Promotions Support
- Prepare artwork for print and digital advertisements (newspaper ads, online ads, EDM banners).
- Design promotional materials for special events, banquets, corporate functions, and seasonal campaigns.
6. Photography & Videography Support
- Take or assist in taking high-quality food photos and short promotional videos.
- Edit photos and videos for marketing and internal use.
7. Collaboration with Marketing & Operations
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to conceptualise campaigns and visuals.
- Coordinate with Operations teams for on-site display materials and signage requirements.
- Liaise with printers, vendors, and suppliers for production of marketing materials.
8. Administrative & File Management
- Maintain a library of design assets, photos, and artwork files.
- Ensure timely delivery of artwork according to campaign timelines.
- Prepare final artwork (FA) files for printing and verify proof prints when needed.
9. Creative Concept Development
- Produce fresh, culturally appropriate design concepts that align with Chinese cuisine and traditional elements.
- Contribute ideas for improving customer engagement and brand image.
10. Requirement
- Must be able to read, write, and speak Chinese to handle Chinese copywriting, traditional festival themes, menu items, and culturally based design elements.
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Studies or other relevant disciplines.
- Advantageous to have Adobe, Illustrator, Canva and other graphic software knowledge.
- Experience in digital and social media campaigns and using marketing platforms.
