Job summary

A leading grant administration firm in Singapore is seeking a motivated individual to review and process grant applications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum diploma and prior experience in administrative support or grants processing. Key responsibilities include data entry, applicant communication, and administrative support to the grant team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bilingualism in English and Mandarin is preferred. This is a full-time role located in East Singapore, offering a competitive salary of up to SGD 3500.

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process grant applications.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate grant records.
  • Communicate with applicants to clarify information.
  • Conduct cold calling to gather required information.
  • Liaise with internal departments for approval workflows.
  • Track application status and ensure timely disbursement.
  • Compile reports and updates for management review.
  • Provide administrative support to the grant team.
  • Handle queries via phone or email professionally.
  • Participate in outreach activities when required.

Employment Details
  • Work Days: Monday to Friday
  • Work Hours: 8.30am – 6.00pm (Monday - Thursday), 8.30am – 5.30pm (Friday)
  • Contract Duration: 2–year contract (Renewable)
  • Work Location: East
  • Salary : Up$3500
Job Scope / Responsibilities
  • Review, verify, and process grant applications according to established criteria and SOPs
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate grant records in the system/database
  • Communicate with applicants to clarify information and request supporting documents when necessary
  • Conduct cold calling to potential or existing applicants (based on provided lists) to promote grant participation or gather required information
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate approval workflows
  • Track application status, follow up on pending submissions, and ensure timely disbursement of grants
  • Compile reports, statistics, and updates for management review
  • Provide administrative support to the grant team, including filing, documentation, and preparation of letters/emails
  • Handle queries via phone or email in a professional and timely manner
  • Participate in on-site engagement or outreach activities when required
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in grants processing, administrative support or data management preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and follow-up skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an advantage (to liaise with Mandarin speaking applicants)
