Responsibilities
- Key Account Leadership: Own and grow relationships with strategic key accounts, acting as the main point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
- Revenue Growth: Drive business development initiatives, identify new opportunities, and expand the GPIS customer base.
- Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain and optimize a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and reporting to senior management.
- Customer Collaboration: Understand customer business models, anticipate logistics needs, and propose tailored solutions that create value and foster long-term partnerships.
- Contract & Financial Oversight: Negotiate commercial terms, manage P&L for key accounts, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate closely with operations, project management, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Singaporean Citizen / Permanent Resident.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within project logistics, Out-Of-Gauge (OOG), Non-Common-Load (NCL), Break-Bulk, or heavy & oversized cargo transportation.
- Strong technical knowledge of multimodal logistics including sea (FCL, Ro/Ro, Break bulk), air and land.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans and achieve sales targets.
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at senior management levels.
