About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced GL Accountant to manage key aspects of accounting and finance operations. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and supports business decision-making through insightful analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in accounting principles, and committed to driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly financial and management reports, analyze variances, and highlight key findings
• Manage fixed assets and intercompany recharge processes
• Prepare quarterly GST reconciliation for submission
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all reports, statements, and calculations

Finance Operations

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations
• Lead periodic stock-take and inventory management
• Supervise team to ensure deadlines are met

Financial Closing & Audit

• Prepare monthly closing schedules
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly and year-end financial close activities
• Manage audit processes, liaise with auditors, and ensure compliance with timelines
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, tax agents, company secretary, and statutory bodies

Business & Process Improvement

• Provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Review and recommend improvements to reporting processes and internal controls
• Lead cross-functional projects to drive cost savings, profitability, and efficiency
• Participate in system enhancements or implementations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional qualification
• 2–3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant
• Audit experience is a plus

Work Location: Gul Circle (Nearest MRT)
Working hour: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
Remuneration: Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + AWS + VB
