This role involves planning, on-site installation, and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation systems, along with drafting necessary engineering documents. The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree and has at least 2 years of experience, with strong skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Qualifications

Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate for geotechnical instrumentation projects, attend the project meeting, schedule control, permits for on-site installation, setting up and commissioning of monitoring.
  • Drafts engineering documents for Authorities’ submission.
  • On-site installation and hands-on monitoring of sensor, instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure full commission of system, with regular monitoring regime
  • Adheres to ISO quality requirements in the execution of works.
  • Instructs, supervises, manages and monitors the supervisor/inferiors in the course of work.
  • Monitoring data processing, review and analyst, with report submission to client.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil / Geotechnical / Instrumentation/ Survey Engineering.
  • Keen interest in geotechnical instrumentation, 2+ years similar experience is an advantage.
  • Computer literate and good hand-on experience on applications such as AutoCAD drafting, Microsoft Office etc.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and highly committed team player.
  • Positive attitudes and drive for results
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to start work immediately or on short notice
