Job Description & Requirements
  • Lead and manage a team of supervisors, safety coordinators/supervisors, appointed subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
  • Coordinate with supporting colleagues like operation managers, coordinators and peers to achieve and ensure a most efficient and effective operations of your and company’s other projects.
  • Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly and other work-related reports are professionally prepared, verified and submitted to office and/or clients on time.
  • Perform the role of geologist as and when required by the project site.
  • Conduct Site evaluation of soil, rock fault distribution and geological studies on site to determine engineering properties.
  • Supervise, check, evaluate and record all soil data.
  • Prepare, carry out field test and record all test result.
  • Prepare soil data reports and ensure quality of field work.
  • Interpret ground conditions through ground investigation.
  • Ensure company ISO procedures and requirements are complied with.
  • Perform calculations and submissions of job-related drawings and documents.
  • Ensure compliance of the Company’s QEHS Management System for the projects under your charge.
  • Monitor and ensure that all safety regulations and housekeeping methods are practiced at your sites.
Requirements
  • Degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in Geotechnical field is advantageous.
  • Computer proficient in MS Office.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A good team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good organizational planning skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills and teamwork.
