Job Title: General Manager (M&E Department)(ID6077)

Location: City Hall

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5:30PM

Salary: $12,000 - $14,000

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage M&E teams at Head Office and project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and corporate objectives.
  • Work with other departments to meet yearly and mid-term sales, award, and profit targets.
  • Oversee staff development, including training, career progression, and KPI performance.
  • Ensure optimal M&E design, specifications, and drawings for tenders.
  • Maintain a strong pool of subcontractors and secure competitive, compliant quotations.
  • Drive value engineering to improve project cost efficiency and profit margins.
  • Monitor project execution, schedules, and cost-control performance.
  • Ensure M&E work quality meets budget, timeline, and QA/QC standards.
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors/suppliers and support management with ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Proven management experience in M&E consultancy, main contractor, or specialist firms.
  • -Completed full cycles of M&E-intensive projects (e.g., data centres) plus residential or hospitality projects.
  • Strong in design-and-build services, tender assessment, cost control, and preparing contract cost breakdowns.
  • Familiar with BIM; green certifications (e.g., Green Mark / LEED); experience in major equipment procurement; strong industry network.
