General Manager – Singapore

Perola Singapore is seeking a General Manager to lead its Singapore business, with full commercial accountability and responsibility for driving sustainable growth across key customer channels.
This role is suited for a senior commercial leader with experience in premium consumer brands, beverage distribution, or hospitality‑led businesses, who brings strong business judgment, market understanding, and leadership capability.
The Role
As General Manager, you will have end‑to‑end responsibility for Perola Singapore, with accountability for :
- Overall commercial performance and P&L
- Portfolio strategy and brand positioning
- Market development across key customer segments
- Team leadership and operational execution
You will be responsible for building a strong market presence while ensuring disciplined, profitable, and compliant business operations.
Key Responsibilities
General Management & Commercial Leadership
- Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and cash flow
- Define and execute the Singapore commercial strategy in alignment with group objectives
- Make informed decisions on portfolio focus, market prioritisation, and resource allocation
Market & Customer Development
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key customers across relevant trade channels, including bars, restaurants, and hospitality groups
- Lead commercial negotiations and long‑term customer relationship management
- Translate market engagement into sustainable revenue growth and brand performance
Brand & Portfolio Management
- Define clear positioning and go‑to‑market strategies for portfolio brands
- Lead brand launches, relaunches, and market prioritisation initiatives
- Ensure disciplined distribution and channel strategy aligned with brand objectives
Leadership & Operations
- Lead, develop, and support a lean local team
- Oversee local operations, including inventory planning, logistics coordination, and compliance
- Establish scalable processes to support future growth
Requirements (Skills & Experience)
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role with accountability for commercial or business performance
- Strong background in sales leadership, general management, or commercial strategy
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L outcomes
- Experience working with premium consumer brands, beverages, or hospitality‑led businesses is advantageous
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with the Singapore market and regional business operations is beneficial
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, management, or a related field
