Job summary

A leading gas utility provider in Singapore is looking for a Technician to enhance the safety and reliability of the gas supply system. Responsibilities include maintenance of the gas network and performing emergency duties. The ideal candidate will possess a NITEC in Mechanical Engineering and be able to work in a 24/7 shift rotation. Strong interpersonal skills and a valid driving license are advantageous. Competitive shift-based compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Able to work 3-shift on rotation for 24/7 operation including public holiday.
• Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair and improvement works to the gas distribution network.
• Perform emergency standby duties or regulator maintenance work.
• Perform any other duties related to the job.

Skills

Mechanical Engineering knowledge

Ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Excellent interpersonal skills

Education

NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
