Job summary

A leading Japanese entertainment company is seeking a Game Localization / Product Development Executive in Singapore. The role involves overseeing the development of card games, liaising with Japanese partners, and translating products from Japanese to English. Candidates should have at least a Diploma and excel in both English and Japanese communication (JLPT N3 required). An attention to detail and knowledge of games or anime are also necessary. Weekend work and some business travel may be required.

Our Client is a leading Japanese entertainment company, producer of collectible card games and trading cards. They are looking for a Game Localization / Product Development Executive to join their team.

Job Description

• Schedule and oversee development and production of card game products
• Liaise with Japanese companies for development and production of card game products
• Translate and localize products from Japanese to English
• Proofread localized text and product designs

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in any field
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and oral, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates as requirements for the role (Minimum JLPT N3 competency required)
• Meticulous and attentive to details
• Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
• Have some knowledge in games or anime
• Effective decision-making skills and strong problem-solving skills
• Sensitive to cultural and linguistic nuances
• Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events
• Open to travel overseas for business trips when required
