Roles & Responsibilities
Game Artist (UIUX, Mobile Game development studio)
- Handle game's UIUX aspects
- Create visually appealing and intuitive menus, HUDs (Heads-Up Displays), buttons, icons, and other interactive elements.
- Design layout and structure for game screens to ensure seamless navigation
- Develop style guides, UI kits and prototypes for consistency across game interfaces
- UX : Map out user flows and gameplay journeys to optimize player engagement and ease of use
- Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and improve interface usability
- Ensure the UI / UX aligns with the game's overall theme, story and target audience
- Develop 2D assets such as backgrounds, character sprites, icons and visual effects
- Collaborate with concept artists and illustrators to translate game themes into visual elements
- Ensure visual consistency and high‑quality art standards throughout the UI
- Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate UI / UX concepts
- Use tools like Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch to create wireframes and mockups
Requirements
- Possess Diploma or Degree in UI / UX, UXGD design or equivalent qualification
- Demonstration of creativity
- Adaptability to different games and graphic styles (pixel, cartoon, realistic, illustration, etc.)
- Organised and efficient
