About Meraki Vets

We are a new small animal clinic opening in Joo Chiat, Katong. Our clinic is built around thoughtful patient care, clear communication, and sustainable ways of working. As a founding team member, you’ll be part of shaping how the clinic runs from the ground up. It will be busy and challenging at times, but you’ll have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the culture, standards, and day‑to‑day flow of the practice.

Our focus is on providing high‑quality veterinary care while ensuring clients are informed, supported, and involved in decisions about their pets. We also place importance on staff wellbeing, fair compensation, and realistic workloads, with an aim to build a workplace people want to stay and grow in long term.

  • Anaesthesia with multi‑parameter monitoring (including capnograph)
  • Separate dog and cat waiting areas and hospital wards
Work structure
  • Full‑time, 4 to 5‑days (41‑49 hours including two‑hour lunch/admin breaks from 12 pm to 2 pm)
  • Last consultation scheduled 1 hour before work ends
  • Two‑vets on duty,aalada 1:3vet per nurse ratio with reception and animal care assistant support

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and treatments
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalised patients
  • Assist with sample collection and performing diagnostic tests and imaging
  • Prepare patients for anaesthesia/surgery, perform anaesthesia monitoring, and support patient recovery mmetrice>
  • Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and equipment hygiene
  • Provide client education on basic pet care, medications, and post‑treatment instructions
  • Update patient records, anaesthesia/treatment sheets, and clinical notes
  • Help manage medical stock and maintain clinical equipment
  • Report patient concerns promptly to the veterinarian and supervise Patient Care Assistants in supporting nursing tasks safely during procedures.
  • Assist with front‑desk duties to support reception when required
