About the Role
Our client is a well‑established tuition centre in the North‑East region (Hougang / Yishun / Khatib) offering English, Maths, and Science programmes aligned with the MOE syllabus.
The centre focuses on building confident learners through interactive lessons, consistent academic tracking, and strong parent‑teacher communication.
What You’ll Do
- Teach and mentor students in English, Maths, or Science in alignment with the MOE syllabus.
- Conduct engaging group lessons (maximum 8 students per class).
- Track student progress, prepare materials, and provide timely feedback to both students and parents.
- Support holistic student growth — both academically and personally.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
- Engage parents through regular updates and discussions (including via WhatsApp groups).
Key Requirements
- Able to teach confidently in at least two subjects from English, Maths, or Science.
- Strong knowledge of the Singapore MOE syllabus.
- Minimum A Levels / Diploma (for Primary) or Bachelor’s degree (for Secondary).
- At least 1 year of group teaching experience in a tuition or enrichment setting.
- Clear communication and classroom‑management skills.
- Patient, approachable, and committed to student development.
Work Schedule
- Weekdays: 3 pm – 9 pm (3 days)
- Weekends: 9 am – 6 pm (Saturday & Sunday)
- Locations: Hougang or Yishun centre
- Weekday admin / planning work may be done remotely.
- Meetings / training sessions may occasionally be held via Zoom or on‑site.
