Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Project Management
   1. Lead end‑to‑end network infrastructure projects from initiation to closure
   2. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
   3. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables
   4. Manage project risks, issues, and change requests
   5. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
   6. Conduct post‑implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions
2. Network Architecture Review & Analysis
   1. Review and evaluate vendor‑proposed network architectures and designs
   2. Conduct technical assessments of network solutions against business requirements
   3. Analyse network topology, capacity planning, and scalability considerationsl
   4. Validate security implementations and compliance with organisational policies
   5. Provide detailed technical recommendations and improvement suggestions
   6. Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture standards
3. Technical Consultation & Design
   1. Provide expert technical consultation on network infrastructure matters
   2. Develop network design specifications and technical documentation
   3. Conduct feasibility studies for network modernisation initiatives
   4. Support RFP/RFQ processes with technical requirements and evaluation criteria
   5. Review and approve network implementation plans and procedures
4. Vendor Management & Oversight
   1. Manage relationships with network solution vendors and service providers
   2. Evaluate vendor capabilities and technical proposals
   3. Oversee vendor performance and deliverable quality
   4. Conduct technical discussions and negotiations with vendors
   5. Ensure vendor compliance with contractual and technical requirements
5. Standards & Compliance
   1. Ensure network implementations comply with security standards and policies
   2. Maintain network documentation and configuration management
   3. Implement network monitoring and performance management practices
   4. Support audit activities and compliance reporting
