Job description

The Front Office Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure.

This role includes managing check-in and check-out, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries. They will also perform front desk operations including cashiering duties, maintaining an organized front desk area and maximizing guests’ satisfaction and retention by meeting their unique needs in a timely and responsive manner.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Reception duties:
  • Ensure seamless transition between shifts by completing all opening and closing tasks during the start/end of the shift.
  • Prepare pre-arrival activities for guest arrivals by coordinating with other departments and ensuring all guestpreferences and requests are noted.
  • Managing check-ins and outs efficiently ensuring all procedures are followed and guests' accounts are accurate.
  • Perform night audit procedures, generate reports and ensure security of the premises during overnight hours.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing courier services, ensuring timely delivery and receipt.
  • Assign rooms and prepare keys for arriving guests ensuring all special requests are accommodated.
  • Undertake any additional task or training as assigned to support the team and enhance service delivery.
Concierge duties:
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations to ensure efficient concierge services.
  • Help guests with booking attraction tickets, planning itineraries and arranging transportation.
  • Providing guests with city recommendations, local dining and entertainment.
  • Booking dining reservations for guests and accommodating special requests or dietary needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / Diploma in Hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or front office roles is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Experienced in PMS (eg: Opera Cloud).
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
