Job summary

A Singapore-based electronics firm is seeking a skilled technician for the setup, calibration, debugging, and maintenance of test equipment on the production line. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves ensuring accurate testing and supporting improvements in equipment performance, requiring both technical skills and strong adaptability to new technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in test equipment commissioning or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with calibration and basic programming of test equipment; able to adjust settings based on testing needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and commission test equipment on production lines.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Calibrate test systems according to product testing requirements.
• Configure and support MES test-related applications.
• Respond quickly to test equipment issues during production.
• Train operators on proper test equipment usage.
• Record and analyse equipment performance data.
