Job summary

A maritime company based in Singapore is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to oversee technical and operational management of vessels. The ideal candidate will ensure safety compliance, manage budgets, and lead both on-shore and off-shore teams in delivering high-quality services. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining vessel conditions and enhancing operational efficiency. The role demands strong leadership skills, marine engineering qualifications, and relevant experience in maritime operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as Chief Engineer/Master.
• At least 1 year of sailing experience as Chief Engineer/Master.
• Knowledge in Classification Society procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for vessel inspection and maintenance.
• Prepare specifications and evaluate tenders.
• Liaise with Procurement Department for spare parts supply.
• Responsible for creating a positive safety culture.
