Job description

ELSA Advance System provides liquid leak detection systems for critical installations. Offerings include advanced digital systems detecting multiple leaks, monitoring size, and operating in harsh environments with rapid hydrocarbon detection.

Key Responsibilities
1. Hardware Design & Development
  • Design, develop, and optimize PCB circuits, schematics, and layouts.
  • Select components based on performance, reliability, cost, and availability.
  • Perform hardware simulations, prototyping, and validation tests.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers for PCB fabrication and assembly.
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures, noise issues, signal integrity problems, and design deficiencies.
2. Firmware Design & Development
  • Develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces.
  • Write clean, efficient, and modular firmware in C/C++ or relevant languages.
  • Design firmware architecture to support product features, reliability, and future enhancements.
  • Conduct firmware debugging, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Maintain firmware documentation, version control, and release notes.
3. System Integration
  • Ensure seamless integration between hardware and firmware.
  • Conduct system-level testing to validate functionalities, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Assist in defining hardware–firmware interfaces and communication protocols.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with product, QA, sales support, and manufacturing teams.
  • Provide technical support during installation, troubleshooting, and customer escalations.
  • Prepare design documentation including BOM, schematics, firmware flowcharts, user manuals, and engineering reports.
5. Compliance, Documentation & IP
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design files, test data, and firmware source code.
  • Ensure designs comply with safety, reliability, and quality standards.
  • Support IP protection through controlled design records and secure coding practices.
