Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a FinIQ Techno functional consultant. The successful candidate will deliver application support, resolve FinIQ issues, and manage user requirements in the Banking sector. This role demands a degree in Computer Science, at least 5 years of IT support experience, and proven skills in .NET and SQL Server. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary. Preference will be given to candidates with a maximum 4-week notice period.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Support, preferably in Banking/Financial Industry.
  • Possess degree or higher diploma in Computer Science.
  • Candidate with maximum 4 weeks of notice will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering FinIQ Application support and resolving application errors.
  • Prioritize support requests in accordance with agreed criteria.
  • Modify system parameters and develop work-arounds for user issues.
  • Work with vendors to enhance the system.
  • Manage new user requirements and implement releases.
  • Ensure performance meets agreed Service Level Agreements.

We are hiring for our project in singapore

Role: FinIQ Techno functional consultant

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering FinIQ Application support to existing business users, investigating and resolving applications errors, data discrepancies and queries.
  • Receive requests for support from the business. Prioritize requests in accordance with agreed criteria.
  • Provide correct responses to requests for support: making modifications to system parameters, developing work-arounds or specific enhancements, reconfiguring systems, changing operating procedures, training users, produce additional documentation or escalating requests or issues to software vendors.
  • Working with vendor or development team to support any system development initiative for service improvements
  • To plan and manage new user requirements, implementation of releases and enhancements.
  • Maintain support capability that ensures Treasury systems performance and availability meets agreed Service Level Agreement with the Business.
Qualification
  • Degree/Higher Diploma with major in Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of IT Support preferably in Banking / Financial Industry
Competencies
  • Experience of recording and solving FinIQ application issues
  • Proven experience in .NET technologies, VBA, Web Services, C#
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2/2012
  • Experience in IBM MQ, SFTP and Batch scripting
  • Knowledge of UNIX and Sybase is a plus
