Job summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and subsystems per system specifications.
  • Implement safety interlocks and protection systems for semiconductor equipment.
  • Oversee motion control profiling, service-mode control mechanisms, and related automation features.
  • Lead and support product compliance and safety certification efforts.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure delivery of high-quality electrical subsystems and test fixtures.
  • Provide escalation support for field issues, helping resolve complex electrical/system failures.
  • Draft and maintain documentation, including design schematics, manufacturing procedures, and safety records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the semiconductor equipment or precision automation industry.
  • Proficiency in PCB schematic design, AC/DC power distribution, and standard communication interfaces (Ethernet, RS‑232/422).
  • Experience with lab equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (Ladder logic), especially Siemens preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to work across functions and with external partners.
