Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Finance professional to assist in budget preparation and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities include preparing monthly reports, supporting long-range financial planning, and improving FP&A processes. This role offers a chance to build cross-functional partnerships and contribute to special finance projects.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in FP&A, finance, or management reporting preferred.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights.
  • Experience with financial systems is an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, including detailed financial analysis, regional budget roll-ups, and preparation of presentation materials for stakeholder review.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis for key Operations partners to support timely and data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the SVP Finance in the development of the Long-Range Plan (LRP) for the business.
  • Continuously assess and improve the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of FP&A processes, forecasts, and reporting timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with leaders across the organization to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance finance support to the business.
  • Perform ad-hoc finance duties and contribute to special projects aligned with corporate, global, and local finance initiatives, including support for M&A activities where required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in FP&A, finance, or management reporting is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modelling; experience with financial systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
