Role Summary:
We are seeking a hands‑on Head of Finance to lead and strengthen the company’s financial operations across its various business units. This role will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy, maintaining robust controls, and providing insights that guide key business decisions at both group and subsidiary levels.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all financial management functions, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for multiple business units.
- Ensure financial statements and reports are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with SFRS and local regulations.
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity, treasury, and working capital to maximize operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls, risk mitigation frameworks, and compliance mechanisms.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high standards of performance and collaboration.
- Partner with operational and executive teams to enhance profitability, streamline costs, and support strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial guidance on mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to uphold statutory compliance.
- Manage consolidation of financial results, intercompany transactions, and subsidiary performance evaluation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- At least 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within construction or related industries.
- Solid expertise in SFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability in multi-subsidiary financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, financial modeling, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exposure to multinational operations and cross‑functional business environments is highly valued.
