Qualifications

Finance Executive

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the following position:

Position Title: Finance Executive

Reporting To: Finance & Corporate Services Manager

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Process payments and billings, and maintain accurate accounting records in the General Ledger
  • Assist with the monthly closing of accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare monthly audit schedules and supporting analyses
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items
  • Prepare monthly GIRO payment control files and support timely and accurate GIRO collections
  • Review and verify cash advance settlements in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register in accordance with organisational policies
  • Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns (e.g. Donations reporting, Department of Statistics, and other relevant submissions)
  • Assist with year-end financial closing and external audit processes
  • Ensure accruals and balance sheet items are properly monitored, documented, and reflected in audit schedules
  • Uphold sound corporate governance practices and internal controls in the execution of daily finance operations
  • Assist with the review and implementation of organisational policies, including Finance and IT policies
  • Support the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of the Annual Report
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
  • Participate in the testing, implementation, and enhancement of systems and applications
Other Duties
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned, in support of organisational objectives
Job Requirements

Position Type
