Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is looking for an Accounts Executive to handle a full set of accounts, including accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Accounting & Finance and have good analytical skills. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, overseeing payroll computation, and managing cash flow forecasts. Candidates with or without experience are welcome to apply. Knowledge of Xero and proficiency in Microsoft Office are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
• Candidates with 1 year of relevant working experience preferred.
• Knowledge in Xero would be advantageous.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Handles a full set of accounts including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, etc.
• Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts including creditors, intercompany, fixed assets and banks
• Consolidation of management accounts and financial reports
• Prepares quarterly GST submission and other statutory returns
• Oversee monthly payroll computation and handle queries regarding payrolls
• Cash flow and other financial forecast

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting & Finance, or equivalent
• Candidates with 1 year of relevant working experience preferred
• Knowledge in Xero would be advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Team player with good analytical skills
