About the role

Role purpose: The Finance Business Partner – SEA supports the Head of Finance Partnering – SEA in driving the financial performance agenda across nine high‑growth markets. The role provides strategic commercial insights, robust analysis, and forward‑looking recommendations to enable effective decision‑making and drive profitable growth. It requires a balance of strategic thinking and strong execution, with the ability to simplify complexity and build effective processes, reporting frameworks, and digital tools, including Power BI dashboards. As a high‑potential role, the FBP SEA leads complex initiatives, influences senior stakeholders, and strengthens team capability.

Key Accountabilities
Financial Analysis & Insights
  • Deliver advanced financial analysis to highlight performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations that influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models for scenario planning and investment evaluation.
  • Drive root‑cause analysis and develop actionable improvement strategies.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
  • Lead the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and business plans with market stakeholders.
  • Provide commentary, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment with SEA strategic priorities.
  • Perform scenario modelling to support decision‑making across markets.
Finance Operations, Reporting & Process Excellence
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial and management reporting.
  • Ensure key finance processes run effectively and resolve escalations as needed.
  • Enhance reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and drive continuous process improvement.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Influence
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders across SEA markets.
  • Provide tailored financial support, linking performance insights to business actions.
  • Facilitate alignment between finance and cross‑functional teams on key initiatives.
Leadership, Capability Building & Ways of Working
  • Model integrity, transparency, and strong decision‑making.
  • Coach junior analysts and contribute to building analytical capability in the team.
  • Support a high‑engagement, collaborative team environment.
Critical Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years in finance with ability to work independently and partner with stakeholders.
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational finance processes.
  • Strong scenario modelling, data analytics, and insight generation skills.
  • Technical proficiency in ERPs, advanced Excel & modelling, and Power BI dashboard development.
  • Strong communication, presentation & collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with commercial acumen and ability to simplify complexity.
