The Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving financial decision-making and supporting strategic planning within the transport and aviation industry. Description
  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance for entities in Singapore and Malaysia, including month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to business leaders, explain variances, and use storytelling to drive informed decisions.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that enhance business performance.
  • Develop financial models and conduct feasibility studies for strategic projects and capital investments.
  • Evaluate cash flow and liquidity requirements; liaise with banks and HQ Treasury to ensure sufficient funding.
  • Act as a business partner with stakeholders across operations, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, and legal consultants to ensure statutory compliance and timely filings.
  • Support system enhancements and leverage analytics tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience, with a foundation in audit combined with commercial finance exposure.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in presenting financial insights to business leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions in a dynamic environment.
