Roles & Responsibilities
Roles
  • Manage the operating funds of the Singapore branch
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance
  • Handle all tax-related matters, including corporate tax, GST filing, and transfer pricing reviews
  • Support the Trading Division by analyzing business plans and performance, reporting insights to management, and coordinating with the Korean headquarters
  • Manage office lease/maintenance, expats housing, and various branch assets
Responsibilities
  • Manage cash flow required for branch operations to ensure all payment deadlines are met, maintaining communication with the accounting and Finance team at the Korean headquarters
  • Prepare and review financial statements and respond to external audit requirements, requiring at least an intermediate to advanced level of accounting knowledge
  • Tax compliance by understanding both Korean and Singaporean tax regulations, proactively managing potential tax issues, and acting as a liaison between the headquarters' tax team and local Singapore tax advisors
  • Support LPG Trading business planning by developing short-, medium-, and long-term plans, reporting timely updates to management, and promptly communicating any operational or business issues to relevant teams at the headquarters
  • Manage branch assets and employee welfare, including branch office facilities, staff housing for expatriates, and medical insurance coverage for branch personnel
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Tax, Accounting, and/or Business Planning – Among these, at least 5 years of experience in operating and managing internal control systems over financial reporting (ICFR)
Preferred Skills
  • Strong professional knowledge and hands‑on experience in accounting, tax, and finance
  • Solid understanding of profit and cost structures, with experience in investment feasibility and financial analysis
  • Good understanding of accounting and tax regulations in both Singapore and Korea
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills for Executive Management
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
