Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled Facility Technician to oversee daily checks on facility and security equipment, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with quality and safety policies. The ideal candidate will have a Higher NITEC or Diploma in Facility Management, along with 4-5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector. Strong Microsoft Office skills are also a must for this role that includes preventive maintenance and liaising with external service providers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in facility management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily checks on facility and security equipment and complete relevant checklists.
  • Prepare daily and monthly Facility Reports.
  • Monitor licenses and arrange for renewals of cleanroom certifications.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled on facility and security equipment.
  • Liaise and supervise external service providers.

Responsibilities
  • To carry out daily checks on facility & security equipment and fill up relevant checklists.
  • Prepare and submit daily and monthly Facility Reports.
  • Prepare and submit scheduled verification / calibration reports.
  • Monitor licenses and cleanroom certification expiry and arrange for renewal.
  • Able to draw basic conclusion from data of meter readings.
  • To carry out daily patrol of facility & security areas and report on defects and abnormalities.
  • To perform preventive maintenance on facility & security equipment as per schedule.
  • Able to carry out troubleshooting works for facility system.
  • Attend to defects and breakdowns as reported by end user.
  • To liaise and supervise servicing works performed by external service providers.
  • To maintain proper documentation of reported defects and job completion status.
  • Revise and update Work Instructions & Procedures.
  • Participate in annual budgeting exercise and facilities improvement project.
  • Participate in Company’s Emergency Response team (CERT) and WSH activities.
  • Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and procedures of the Company.
Requirements
  • Higher NITEC / Diploma in Facility Management.
  • Must have 4-5 years of facility management in manufacturing industry.
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills.
