Job Description

As an Operations Manager an educational institute, you will supervise a team of Operations Support officers in maintaining safety and security, as well as logistics and estate management.

You will be involved in various aspects of operations such as maintenance of facilities, coordination with vendors for infrastructure/ facilities improvement and maintenance works, as well as implementation of safety protocols and emergency response procedures. You will also work with Head (Administration) and Administration Manager to manage infrastructure-related budget and evaluate infrastructure-related project proposals.

Requirements
  • Possess strong organizational, managerial, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in estate management, logistics, facilities operations, safety, and emergency planning, preferably within an educational or similar institutional environment.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and facilities maintenance, with the ability to oversee vendor management, improvement works, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Ability to support budget management and project evaluation for infrastructure-related initiatives in collaboration with senior management.
  • Certification as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) would be advantageous; candidates holding this certification are encouraged to submit a copy of their certificate.
