Job summary

A facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operations and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in Facilities Management and at least 5 years of experience, preferably in a banking environment. Responsibilities include managing vendors, budgets, and maintenance while supporting emergency response procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of building operations and M&E systems.
  • Experience in a banking/financial services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations across office premises.
  • Ensure compliance with bank security protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and follow-up on rectification works.
  • Coordinate maintenance and improvement work with minimal disruption.
  • Support emergency response procedures and safety programs.

Job description
  • Managing day-to-day facilities operations across office premises and critical support areas.
  • Monitor and ensure service delivery by vendors for cleaning, etc.
  • Conduct regular facility operation inspections and follow-up on rectification works.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, repairs and improvement work with minimal disruption to operations.
Regulatory & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with bank security protocols, workplace safety standards and building regulations.
  • Maintain documents, permits and facilities records in accordance with audit requirements.
  • Assist in managing vendor compliance and service level agreement.
Budget & Procurement support
  • Tracking facilities expenditures and budget utilization
  • Support procurement activities including quotation, evaluation and vendor selection as required.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate with building management, contractors and service providers
  • Support stakeholders and user communication on facilities-related matters.
  • Handle internal requests and follow up to closure in a timely manner.
Business continuity and Safety
  • Support emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, etc
  • Implement workplace safety programs and risk assessments.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Min. 5+ years of relevant experience in facilities or property management.
  • Prior banking / financial services environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building operations, M&E systems and workplace safety practices.
