Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Management Technician to oversee maintenance tasks, coordinate contractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Job Description
  • Plan, supervise, and organize maintenance works, including minor repairs, corrective, and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Coordinate, supervise and follow-up with contractors on preventive maintenance and rectification works to ensure timely completion.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations/costing, and monthly maintenance reports.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment, and report findings to the supervisor.
  • Monitor and track the expiry dates of service contracts, certifications, licenses, and ensure timely renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for all facility operations.
  • Support facility improvement projects and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Job Requirement
  • Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Min 1 year of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or engineering support (manufacturing environment is an advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and respond promptly to facility issues.
  • Willing to support after-hours or weekend maintenance when required.
  • Willing to work on-site at Changi North Crescent.
