Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on M&E systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in building or facility maintenance, with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems. You will troubleshoot air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations, supporting the overall maintenance operations of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on M&E systems including electrical systems, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and generators.
• Maintain air-conditioning and refrigeration systems; troubleshoot and resolve system and equipment failures.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and logging via the work request platform; attend to fault reports and user complaints.
• Carry out root cause analysis for equipment malfunctions and propose repair solutions.
• Oversee and coordinate external contractors during servicing, repair, and testing works.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and structure upkeep within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Conduct investigations for WSH/EMS-related accidents and incidents.
• Assist in developing and reviewing SOPs, operational plans, and maintenance procedures.
• Perform scheduled system test runs (e.g., generator runs) and maintain proper documentation.
• Support ad-hoc maintenance duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Min. ITE in Electrical / Electronics / M&E or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in building, facility, or plant maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems and basic M&E.
