Executive (Sustainability)

Our client is seeking a dedicated Executive/Senior Executive (Sustainability) to join their team and drive their commitment to responsibly sourced natural rubber.   • Location: Habourfront

  • Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00

  • Hybrid working arrangement

Job Responsibilities
  • Engage suppliers to ensure alignment with The Group’s sourcing policies, industry requirements, and regulations (e.g., EUDR, GPSNR). Includes conducting on-site audits with suppliers.
  • Conduct supply chain due diligence. Monitor risk assessments, identify priority areas for risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including CSOs, governments, industry associations, and local communities, to drive adoption of best practices and other sustainable natural rubber initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of capacity building projects with smallholders across The Group’s sourcing regions.
  • Report on progress and performance of The Group’s sustainability efforts to internal and external audiences.
Job Requirements
  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Geography, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in corporate sustainability (relevant internships included).
  • Comprehensive grasp of sustainability challenges in supply chains (e.g., deforestation, labour, carbon emissions).
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities. Self-directed, proactive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia or Thai is a plus to liaise with suppliers.
  • Experience with geospatial analysis (QGIS) is ideal.
  • Professional experience in the commodities sector and/or knowledge of the natural rubber industry is a significant advantage.
  • Prepared to travel frequently (up to 30%) to natural rubber sourcing regions, which will include visits to outlying areas.
