The Executive, Social Media, plays a role in the marketing team to elevate MFLG’s digital presence by developing high-impact strategies to boost fan growth and engagement. He/She will create compelling content, manage our social platforms, and analyse performance metrics to drive marketing and sales success. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the website, developing, and executing digital marketing strategies, and managing social media platforms to create an impactful online presence for our attractions.
Develop, plan, and execute social media content strategies and content calendars across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and XiaoHongShu) to support brand, digital marketing and campaigns, promotions, and initiatives aligned with broader marketing efforts.
Create and coordinate engaging content, including short-form videos and reels, social media posts, and email newsletters, working closely with the content creator and internal marketing team across organic and paid digital marketing campaigns.
Manage day-to-day content publishing across social platforms, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, creative quality, and alignment with MFLG’s brand voice, visual identity, and messaging.
Assist to build an engaged social media community through active engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Monitor social media channels regularly for direct messages, comments, tags and mentions, ensuring timely response in a professional manner in accordance with our crisis communications guidelines.
Strengthen brand affinity and loyalty by fostering positive relationships with followers and addressing issues or concerns appropriately.
Track, analyse, and report on social media and campaign performance using relevant tools (e.g. HubSpot, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Studio).
Optimise content and campaign strategies based on performance data, audience insights, and engagement trends.
Monitor online sentiment across MFLG brands, conduct competitor benchmarking, and stay informed of travel industry trends to refine best practices.
Support crisis management efforts by monitoring social media channels, responding in line with crisis SOPs, and coordinating timely updates across social platforms and MFLG website during incidents.
Manage and update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand and communication guidelines, including timely updates during campaigns and crisis situations.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
1 - 2 years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within consumer-facing, lifestyle, or tourism-related industries.
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and on-brand content for diverse audiences.
Basic graphic design and video editing skills, with working proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar creative tools.
Hands-on experience managing social media channels, including community engagement and audience interaction.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret social media metrics (e.g. reach, engagement, views and insights to optimise content and performance.
Good awareness of digital and social media trends, keywords, and audience behaviours to inform content strategy.
Excellent project and time management skills, able to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to respond well to evolving platforms and changing priorities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, while collaborating effectively within a team and representing the brand responsibly.
