Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including CPF submissions, IR21, IR8A, and GL postings.
  • Perform month-to-month variance reconciliations on headcount and salary.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation on suspense accounts.
  • Process CPF refund claims, Government Paid Leave claims, and NS claims accurately and timely.
  • Preparation of daily fast payments for resigning staff.
  • Handle external payments and deductions.
  • Manage recovery of outstanding salary from ex-staff.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing timely information, reconciliations, and clarifications to auditors.
  • Review existing payroll procedures and recommend improvements to optimize productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Review, update, and maintain Payroll Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Attend to staff queries on salary matters.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and assignments as required.
Key Requirements
  • Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably in a SAP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, CPF, IRAS, MOM regulations.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and well-versed in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Highly motivated, task-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and coach team members.
