Job description

The primary function of this role is drive innovation for warehouse operations in order to improve the processes, efficiency and productivity. This role shall drive innovation through identifying operation gaps, developing and implementing innovative ideas.

Hence, an in-depth knowledge of the supply chain and logistics processes and how each business operations is being executed and managed are required.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deployment of various solutions in accordance with the company’s innovation roadmap to enhance the productivity, efficiency, processes of its logistics and supply chain operations. This includes, but is not limited to, project management, gathering of requirements, solution design, implementation, verifying efficacy of proposed solution, training, etc.
• Supports projects that drive and develop innovation culture within YCH Group.

JOB TASKS AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Identify the gaps or operational issues in the existing logistics and supply chain processes, propose innovative solutions and assist with the creation and implementation of such innovation projects;
• To work with vendors/ partners in developing, testbed and implementing of solution that would improve efficiencies in the warehouse
• Assist in overall management of innovation projects, including working closely with various stakeholders from the warehouse operations to deliver project requirements, managing project.
• Assist in the tracking of program and project status
• Support to ensure the operational efficiency and readiness including facilities, safety, administration processes
• Executes initiatives to achieve overall continuous development goals and driving innovation culture development within YCH Group
• Monitoring and analysis of innovation technology trends that could improve the company's logistics and supply chain services and performance.
• Assist in the design, training pipelines, development, and deployment of AI agents tailored to organizational needs.
• Perform other job-related tasks / projects as and when necessary or as required by the superior.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent technical background
• Fresh graduates are welcome,
• Familiarity/ Proficiency in AI, Microsoft Sharepoint, Power Automate and other tools is a plus
• Proficient in computer programming, project management and/or autonomous navigation
• Innovative, creative, inquisitive and able to work both independently and a team player
