We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our corporate governance and risk management functions. The successful candidate will assist senior team members in maintaining governance standards, monitoring risk controls, and preparing reports for management and governance committees. Job Description

This regional role covers Singapore, Malaysia, India, Australia, Vietnam, Philippines (countries coverage may be expanded if necessary).

Corporate Governance
  • Assist in coordinating governance-related communications between Japan HQ and group companies.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of corporate governance policies, frameworks, and internal regulations across group companies in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Japan HQ requirements.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support for Asia Management Committee and Board of Directors matters, including preparation of meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and tracking of action items.
  • Support group-wide governance initiatives and coordinate contact with Japan Headquarter and group companies.
Risk Management
  • Support the formulation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of risk management–related policies across all group companies.
  • Support risk assessment activities and the development of appropriate risk management plans, ensuring alignment with compliance, control requirements, and sound business practices.
  • Coordinate and provide support for group-wide risk management activities, including identification of top risks, risk evaluation and prioritization, risk monitoring, and collection of risk management activity reports from group companies.
  • Coordinate and support local risk management champions within group companies, including basic guidance and training support.
  • Support the investigation, tracking, and monitoring of risk incidents reported by group companies, including follow‑up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support investigations and group-wide risk initiatives by providing information and coordination assistance as requested.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in organizational/operational risk management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Possess effective communication skills required to engage stakeholders, elevate issues in a timely manner to reporting supervisor.
  • Has good understanding of risk management process and implementing process controls.
  • Basic understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to corporate governance (i.e. Companies Acts).
